Ewan McGregor in talks to star in 'Christopher Robin'London, April 27 (AZINS) Actor Ewan McGregor is in talks to star in "Christopher Robin". The movie will be based on the adult version of the character by the same name from A.A. Milne's "Winnie the Pooh" stories.

McGregor will portray the adult Christopher Robin, who has lost his sense of imagination and becomes a businessman, reports hollywoodreporter.com.

Christopher Robin is named after Milne's son Christopher Robin Milne. The character appears in poems as well as two books, titled "Winnie the Pooh" (1926) and "The House at Pooh Corney" (1928).

The tales were adapted by Disney into several animated projects, which include 1988's series "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" and 2011's animated movie "Winnie the Pooh".
