Ben Hardy to essay drummer in Queen biopicLos Angeles, June 29 (AZINS) Actor Ben hardy has been roped in to essay the role of drummer Roger Taylor in a biopic on band Queen.

Hardy, who played Archangel in "X-Men: Apocalypse", is Taylor in "Bohemian Rhapsody", reports aceshowbiz.com.

"Ben caught the eye of producers and he has worked with director Bryan Singer on 'X-Men'. After a couple of screen tests, bosses decided he was the perfect man for the job and signed him up. He's very excited," said a source.

"But he's got plenty of work to do before filming starts. Hardy even started taking drumming lessons to get up to scratch," the source added.

He will star alongside Rami Malek in the upcoming biopic that will follow Queen's journey up to their appearance at the Live Aid concert in 1985.

Movie makers are still busy trying to cast two more actors to take on the roles of Brian May and John Deacon.
