How Shah Rukh Khan came to help good friend Irrfan Khan who's battling cancer in LondonJune 23 (AZINS) Back in March this year, Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan left the country in shock by sharing the news of him being diagnosed with a 'rare disease'. He later revealed that he has neuroendocrine tumour and soon he had to leave for London for his treatment. While the actor was flooded with wishes and prayers from his fans and friends, recent reports doing the rounds suggest that Shah Rukh Khan has been a constant source of help and support for the Hindi Medium actor.

Apparently, before leaving for London, Irrfan had expressed his desire to meet his Billu co-star Shah Rukh. So when Irrfan's wife Sutapa gave a call to SRK and conveyed his wish, Shah Rukh immediately rushed to meet his good friend at his Madh Island abode.

Reportedly, SRK spent abot two hours with the ailing actor and had a hearty conversation with him. Not just that, Shah Rukh wanted to make sure that Irrfan and his family did not have any troubles while staying in London, so before leaving, he handed over the keys to his house in London to Irrfan. Though, Irrfan didn't want to take them but when Shah Rukh insisted, he ultimately gave in.

On the work front, Irrfan will soon be seen in  the film Karwaan. The film also stars Internet sensation Mithila Palkar and Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan. The movie is slated to hit the theatre on August 13 this year.
