Leaked: Realme 2 full specifications appear online ahead of launch on August 28

Aug 26 (AZINS) Realme, the sub-brand from Oppo, is gearing up to launch the Realme 2 on August 28. The company confirmed that the device will be available for purchase via e-commerce portal Flipkart.

Additionally, the company has also confirmed that the upcoming device will have a notch display with 88.8 percent screen-to body ratio along with a dual rear camera set up. It will also be powered by a Snapdragon chip and include a 4230mAh battery.  

Recently, other specifications of the device were leaked online. Based on the leaks, the device will feature a 6.2-inch display along with a 720x1520 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 450 processor, paired with 3GB/4GB RAM. It will be offered in two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB.

It comes equipped with a dual rear camera set up – 13MP + 2MP sensor and will also include an 8MP front-facing camera. It will be available in Red, Blue and Black color variants. The device is expected to be priced approximately Rs 8,990.

Oppo launched the Realme 1 in India in May this year. It is available in three variants - 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant for Rs 8,990, 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant for Rs 10,990 and 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant for Rs 13,990.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 6-inch full-HD+ display with a 1080x2160 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, and is offered in 3GB/4GB and 6GB RAM variants. It will be offered in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB inbuilt storage variants and also includes a microSD card for expandable storage. Running Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.0 on top, the device features a 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. A 3410mAh battery completed the package.
