PUBG Mobile Update 0.9.0: These Halloween-themed Android and iOS updates will make gamers scream in delightOct 26 (AZINS) PUBG Mobile servers were down yesterday for maintenance because Tencent Games is ready to roll out a new update that gamers have been waiting for. The update 0.9.0 comes with a lot of Halloween-themed updates, cosmetic skins, items, weapons, a new night mode and even a spectator mode.

The 500 MB update is rolling out for both Android and iOS users and is rolling out the update in phases so if you’ve not got it yet, don’t worry. It will get here.

Of course, if you’re impatient you could get it from third-party websites but there’s always the risk of malicious software from these forums. There’s also a new exclusive trailer showing the night mode, and Halloween-themed costumes.

Night Mode

The biggest update for gamers is the introduction of Night Mode on the Erangel Map which comes with its share of visibility issues. The map will alternate between day and night and night vision goggles are up for grabs for the games played in darkness.

Halloween Theme

The theme has decorations in spawn areas and enemies killed by the AKM weapon will become scarecrows on the map. This is a build-up to Halloween on October 31.

New weapons, vehicle-usage

A new weapon has been released for the Sanhok map – the QBU DMR and the gun replaces the Mini14 rifle. The Rony pick-up truck has also been introduced. These include first-person perspective while driving, engines sounds and others.

There will also be better match-making in random games, based on language spoken and new spectator mode.

All in all, the 500 MB update will also bring various performance updates including resolutions for game-crash issues, reduced loading times and improvements in game update mech.

If you have not got the update option yet, don’t fret, you will definitely get it before Halloween.
