From guest list, outfit to venue, here's all you need to know about Kapil Sharma-Ginni Chatrath's Mumbai receptionDec 25 (AZINS) Ace comedian Kapil Sharma tied the knot with college sweetheart Ginni Chatrath on December 12 according to Hindu customs and on December 13 as per Sikh traditions.

Both the weddings took place in Jalandhar.

Later, Kapil and Ginni hosted a lavish reception at the Radisson Blue hotel in Amritsar on December 14 for their friends and relatives.

And now, the couple is hosting yet another reception in Mumbai on December 24.

The lovely newlyweds are all set to greet their guests at the JW Marriott in Mumbai on Monday, right before Chritmas.

The guests are expected to start arriving at the venue 7.30 pm onwards. The guest list includes a mix of both, Bollywood and television celebrities.

Kapil Sharma had invited Amitabh Bachchan to his wedding when he appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati 10 grand finale and the superstar accepted the comedians invitation.

Not just Big B, newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are also said to attend Kapil and Ginni's Mumbai reception.

Meanwhile, since Kapil's wedding was in Jalandhar, he could not invite many of his friends and colleagues from the industry, and so the reception is expected to see presence of several celebrities.

Only the team of The Kapil Sharma Show, including Bharti Singh, Sumona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar and Krushna Abhishek, was present at the comedian's wedding.

According to reports, Kapil Sharma has also invited Sunil Grover and he himself had gone to give him the invitation.

As far as the outfits are concerned, Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath will be wearing outfits designed by Rimple and Harpreet Narula of Padmaavat fame for their lavish reception in Mumbai.

The designer duo also designed the couple's wedding ensemble.

Kapil will be wearing a classic black silk bandhgala jacket paired with a pair of slim cut pants. The jacket has tonal resham thread embroidery. The look will be finished with a pair of bespoke embroidered shoes.

"For Kapil, we have made a classic black silk bandhgala jacket paired with a pair of slim cut pants. The jacket features tonal resham thread embroidery, used as a painterly homage to depict an artwork of florals and foliage derived from the works of the iconic 19th-century British textile designer William Morris. The look will be finished off with a pair of bespoke embroidered shoes," said Rimple.

Ginni, on the other hand, will be donning a lehenga which will feature a mix of motifs- birds of paradise, blooming lotus blossoms, brimming vases of plenty. The lehenga will be paired with a sequin encrusted corset and delicate tulle dupatta.

"Ginni's reception lehenga will be a lavish ode to an archival 18th century European Chintz textile from our personal collection. The lehenga features a melange of motifs- birds of paradise, blooming lotus blossoms, brimming Vases of Plenty; rendered on tulle using delicate resham aari embroidery, chaawal-tanka stitches, nalki and nakshi, imported sequins, crystals, and multi-hued pearls. The lehenga is paired with a sequin-encrusted corset and wispy tulle dupatta," the designer said.
