'Petta' Trailer: Rajinikanth's badass avatar and Nawazuddin's dark side is sure going to leave a markDec 28 (AZINS) The trailer of multi-starrer Petta is finally out, and from what we see, the wait was worth it!

The film, directed by Karthik Subbaraj features a great line-up of actors, including Rajinikanth, Simran Bagga, Trisha, Bobby Simha, Vijay Sethupathi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

In the film, Rajinikanth essays the role of a gangster cum cool college warden.

The trailer introduces us to college life in what looks like a hill station. Petta has been shot in Uttarakhand.

What is also intriguing is the chemistry Rajinikanth shares with actress Simran. It is refreshing and lovely!

After a lively first half, things turn around as Rajinikanth's character in the film shows his badass avatar.

For Bollywood buffs, the presence of Nawazuddin Siddiqui in film, is a highlight. The actor makes a mark from scene one.

His look in the film- clad in a lungi and printed shirts, and thick glasses suits him. Language clearly does not seem to be a barrier for Nawaz.

His character in the film is that of a North Indian, Singaar Singh. He is the bad guy in the film.

Vijay Sethupathi's jovial presence lights up the trailer but much is not revealed about his role.

Petta, which also stars Trisha is slated to release on January 10, 2019.
