Tom Holland and Co are back with brand new 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' teaser trailerJan 15 (AZINS) Making good on his promise, Tom Holland unveiled the first teaser trailer for the second instalment of his version of Spider-Man. Holland went live on Instagram on Tuesday evening (IST) and in true goofy, Tom Holland style ran the small glimpse into Spider-Man: Far From Home thrice!

The trailer answers a lot of questions, the biggest one is that after the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man aka Peter Parker and Nick Fury both will survive.

What becomes a tough cookie for Peter is that his summer vacation ends up being a mission assigned by the very spy who made the Avengers happen. 'Far From Home' (get it?) this superhero has to cross the pond and do the same thing he did in the US and outer space. Save the world.

But from whom?

Make way for Jake Gyllenhaal who plays one of the iconic Spidey villains Quentin Beck aka Mysterio. Turns out, Mysterio is responsible for wreaking havoc across the continent, Fury recruiting Peter, and a spoilt vacation.

"You are all alone," This one line uttered by Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan packs tonnes of potential. The thought on top of my head is 'If Happy is talking about Iron Man, what happened to Tony Stark in Endgame?'

Jon Watts is once again helming this Marvel Studios-Sony Pictures joint venture. Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, and Martin Starr have also returned to reprise their respective roles.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled to release in the US on July 5, 2019
