Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka 2: Aneri Vajani, Kunal Jaisingh, Tejasswi Prakash's promo piques Twitterati's interestMar 1 (AZINS) Kunal Jaisingh, of 'Ishqbaaz' fame, took to his Instagram account on Friday to share a promo of his upcoming web show 'Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka 2' that also stars Aneri Vajani, Rohan Gandotra and Tejasswi Prakash.

Unlike its first season 'Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka' that features Drashti Dhami, Shakti Arora, Aditi Dev Sharma, Kinshuk Mahajan and Abinav Shukkla - this season will premiere on the channel's OTT platform and not on television.

The decision was made in light of the severe backlash that the season 1 received. It had to be shifted online mid-season due to falling TRPs. However, the show did enjoy a good run on the OTT platform.

Shakti and Aditi's show, that premiered on June 4 on television, will end on March 4 this year, just a day before the season 2 commences. Season 2 will follow the story of Mauli's (Drasti) daughters Pari and Mishty. Aneri Vajani will be seen playing the role of a grownup Pari wile 'Swaragini' fame Tejassvi will be seen in Mishti's role.

"Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka 2 takes a leap to the next generation and I play the character of Pari who is Nandini's daughter. She is a simple, down to earth girl, who holds high respect and regard for her family and dotes on her elder sister Mishti. There’s a certain spark to her personality and though grounded in values she tends to be commitment phobic, leading her to keep her guard up and not letting anyone new into her world so easy. That's all I’m spilling for now. You will have to tune in, to really get to know her,"Aneri told Pinvilla in a recent interview.

Asked if she had any apprehensions about taking up the show, considering the first season received flak for allegedly glorifying extra marital affairs, Aneri told the portal, "I don't see why honestly! It’s sad that the more real content you put out, the more flak you get. Matter of fact is that extra-marital affairs are a reality. Turning a blind eye or bashing it doesn't make it go away. No one is promoting it in any way, but sometimes turning attention towards it is just as important. Everyone makes mistakes, each one's circumstances are different as in why they do it and what they go through is also unique to each of them. As characters, we simply play our parts and Drashti did so commendably. What you take from it and make of it, that’s on you."

Speaking about working with Tejasswi and Kunal, Aneri told Pinkvilla,  "For someone who hasn't been in the industry for long, I am definitely looking forward to sharing screen space with Tejaswi and Kunal. Though I've known Kunal for quite some time now, it’ll be great to see what each of us brings to our characters. What chemistry pans out through it and where that takes the show".

We hear, Jaya Bhattacharya, who played Shakti Arora's mother, is the only one who will be retained from the old cast.
