'Luka Chuppi' Box Office Collection: Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon's film makes Rs 10.08 crore on Day 2Mar 3 (AZINS) Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Luka Chuppi had an amazing opening on Friday with the occupancy of 20%. The film minted Rs 8.01 crore on its release day and it has gone on to become Kartik's biggest opener ever. The film opened to positive response and people are liking Kartik and Kriti's performances. This is the first outing of the duo together and their chemistry is something to watch out for.

Now, the second-day collections of Luka Chuppi are out and it's doing good on its first Saturday. Trade analyst tweeted that the movie has collected about Rs 10.08 crore on Saturday. The total collections for the film now is Rs 18.09 crore at the domestic market. Taran wrote, "#LukaChuppi zooms upwards on Day 2... Another strong day [Day 3] will place it in a comfortable position due to the controlled costs... Will cross *opening weekend* biz of #SKTKS [? 26.57 cr] and #PKP2 [? 22.75 cr]... Fri 8.01 cr, Sat 10.08 cr. Total: ? 18.09 cr. India biz."

Word of mouth is expected to propel Luka Chuppi to mint Rs 30 crore on its first weekend. Interestingly, the film got a bigger opening than Raazi, Stree and Badhaai Ho.

The romcom is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan. Apart from Kartik and Kriti, the film also stars Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, Vinay Pathak, Atul Srivastava and Alka Amin in pivotal roles.
