Post 'Tanaaji', Ajay Devgn picks Syed Abdul Rahim biopic?Mar 11 (AZINS) Ajay Devgn seems to be really piqued with the season of biopics. He is already set to appear as the Marathi warrior Taanaji in his upcoming release Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior. Ajay's fever for biopics doesn't seem to stop there. Latest reports suggest that the actor might also be roped in for a biopic on Syed Abdul Rahim.

Syed Abdul Rahim is India's football coach. Syed was a coach from the year 1950-1963. He had a vision and a career from football when India's National sport was hockey, and many Indian sportsmen wished to be part of hockey and cricket teams.

Amit Sharma, who had helmed Ayushmann Khurrana-Sanya Malhotra starrer Badhaai Ho, is all set to direct this film. Talking about it, he told Mumbai Mirror, "We are looking to shoot in cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Delhi, are also actively exploring an overseas destination. Most of it will be shot in actual locations."

Amit further added, "We are looking for players who can act and vice versa. We have charted out a training plan for the entire cast and are in talks with someone who can help the actors develop their skills, build stamina and understand the gameplay keeping their overall physical health in mind. We are also in the process of finalisng a sports choreographer from Hollywood." The director is also expected to take his cast and crew to a real football stadium for prep.

Ajay Devgn is most remembered lately for his roles like 'Singham' and Gopal from Golmaal series. He last appeared in Indra Kumar's Total Dhamaal with Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jafferey, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra and others. The actor will also be seen in De De Pyaar De and Luv Ranjan's next. He will also have a role in Rohit Shetty's upcoming cop franchise film Sooryavanshi which narrates Akshay Kumar's story of turning a cop in the film.
