Naveen Chandra roped in to play pivotal role in Dhanush-Durai Senthilkumar filmMar 28 (AZINS) Actor Naveen Chandra has been signed to play a pivotal role in the forthcoming production of Sathya Jyothi Films' starring Dhanush in lead role. Directed by Durai Senthil Kumar of Kodi and Ethir Neechal fame, the shooting is currently happening in full swing in Kuttralam.

Filmmaker Durai Senthil Kumar said in a statement, “We are happy to have Naveen Chandra onboard. His performances in different shades have garnered a good response. We are happy that his presence would offer some additional value to the film."

In the first principal schedule, Durai Senthilkumar has shot some major portions involving Dhanush and Sneha, who is reuniting with the Vada Chennai actor thirteen years after their last outing in Selvaraghavan's Pudhupettai.  

Durai Senthilkumar had earlier said, “Personally, I'm very happy to be working with Dhanush sir yet again after the success of ‘Kodi’. While I consider this to be a great surprise, I am now enthralled by the fact that I have an opportunity to work with a reputed production studio like Sathya Jyothi Films. Their distinct way of planning and executing a project has been an inspiration to many. I have a huge responsibility to deliver the best."

The musical duo of Vivek-Mervin will compose the music. Dhanush has also signed his next film with Ratsasan director Ram Kumar as a part of his two-film deal with Sathya Jyothi Films, who started 2019 on a high note with the mega-blockbuster success of Thala Ajith's Viswasam.
