'Student Of The Year 2' Trailer: Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday's love triangle has a competitive twistApril 12 (AZINS) The much-awaited trailer of Student of the Year 2 is out! The film starring Tiger Shroff and debutantes Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria is a sequel to 2012's Student of the Year. SOTY 2 is helmed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions. The trailer starts with the dhamakedaar entry of Tiger while playing kabaddi with his teammates. He is excited to study in St Theresa which is an elite college.

On the other hand, Tara is shown as someone who is eyeing to win the dance competition and takes help of Tiger, who is an all-rounder. While Ananya is shown as a spoilt brat, who spraypaints Tiger's bicycle in pink and calls him Princess. Unlike SOTY, there's a brash villain in SOTY 2 played by Aditya Seal who hits the hell out of Tiger leaving him injured. But that doesn't stop him from seizing the Student of the Year, which is his ultimate dream.

SOTY 2 trailer also shows a love triangle between Tiger and Ananya-Tara. Tara is seen telling that she loves Tiger and Ananya replied by stating, "So do I!" The video also gives a glimpse of the recreated version of the retro hit 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'.

Overall the trailer is colourful and has total KJo feels like we all expected. It has nuances of SOTY of having different kinds of students coming together, fierce competition and more.

SOTY 2 is slated to release on May 10, 2019.
