Shahid Kapoor reveals he'll unveil his wax statue at Madame Tussauds in a week!May 9 (AZINS) Joining the likes of Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Karan Johar, Prabhas, Sunny Leone and Varun Dhawan, Shahid Kapoor is all set to be immortalised in wax at the Madame Tussauds Meuseum. The actor recently revealed when he'll unveil his wax stature at Madame Tussauds mueseum in Singapore.

Shahid Kapoor took to his Twitter account to share the news with his fans. He wrote along side a picture of himself, "7 days from now, I will be unveiling my first & only wax figure at @MTsSingapore! Stay Tuned!"

Shahid Kapoor, who's also gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Kabir Singh, along with Kiara Advani, will fly to Singapore to unveil his wax figure. He will also be launching the trailer of Kabir Singh on May 13.

Speaking about the significance of his wax statue, Shahid Kapoor had exclusively told DNA in an earlier interview, " It takes our cinema to an international level as it’s a global platform. It helps you connect with people that you probably wouldn’t reach out to, in any other way."

"I feel blessed to be a part of it. And of course, most dignitaries whose figurines are there at the museum are those whom we have grown up watching and idolising. For me to be featured among them because somebody thinks of me in a similar way is a huge compliment," he added.

Meanwhile, Kabir Singh, which is a Hindi remake of Vijay Deverakonda starrer South hit Arjun Reddy, is slated to hit the theatres on June 21.
