'Bharat' Box Office report day 3: After decent Friday showing, Salman Khan starrer set to cross Rs 100 crore mark today
June 8 (AZINS) Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat released in theatres on the occasion of Eid. It has been three days since the movie released, and the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is now set to touch Rs. 100 crore mark today. The movie collected Rs. 95.50 in India.

Bharat, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, set records on its opening day. The movie became the second highest opening film after Aamir Khan-Amitabh Bachchan-Fatima Sana Shaikh's Thugs Of Hindostan release. After having a great response to advance booking, the movie collected Rs. 42.30 crore on its first day.

The numbers dipped a little over the next two days, but the buzz around Salman Khan and his movie has been unstoppable. Bharat then went on to mint Rs. 31 crore on day two (Thursday) and Rs. 22.20 crore on day three (Friday). Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "#Bharat maintains a grip on Day 3 [Fri]... Mass circuits remain strong, while some circuits faced normal decline after #Eid festivities... Should witness an upturn on Day 4 [Sat] and 5 [Sun]... Wed 42.30 cr, Thu 31 cr, Fri 22.20 cr. Total: 95.50 cr. India biz."

Taran also went on to reveal that Bharat would be Salman Khan's ninth film to enter Rs. 100 crore club. "As #Bharat cruises past cr mark today [Day 4], Salman Khan sets another benchmark: Highest number of films in cr+ Club... The tally rises to 14 with #Bharat... Breakup: 300 cr: 3 200 cr: 2 100 cr: 9 India biz," he tweeted.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat brings the trio of Ali, Salman and Katrina Kaif after Tiger Zinda Hai from 2017. Apart from them, the movie also stars Disha Patani, Tabu, Sunil Grover, Nora Fatehi, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Kulkarni, Shashank Arora and others in pivotal roles. Varun Dhawan also has a cameo in the movie which is an official adaptation of An Ode To My Father.
