Kangana Ranaut-Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Mental Hai Kya' to undergo title change, confirms actress
June 28 (AZINS) Although Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya new motion posters were unveiled on Wednesday, the makers will now be changing the title of the film. Kangana recently confirmed the same to reporters at an event.

Kangana Ranaut along with one of the producers of the film, visited the screening where Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS), who opposed the film, were present for a meeting post watching the movie. Kangana Ranaut confirmed, "The word 'Mental' cannot be changed because that's the crux of the film," further adding, "There's a slight change in the title and you will know soon."

A source however told Times of India that the title might be renamed as 'Judgemental Hai Kya'. “The session went on for almost five hours. The film was cleared by the CBFC with a U/A certificate after minor changes and almost no cuts. There will be a change in title as the CBFC thought that it was a bit too harsh. The makers were open to suggestions and were happy to cooperate, given the sensitivity of the term. The new title will be unveiled by the production house very soon, but we hear that it will most likely be renamed Judgemental Hai Kya,” said the source.

Mental Hai Kya is helmed by National-award winning Telugu filmmaker Prakash Kovelamudi, who is more famously known for his movies like Bommalata and Anaganaga O Dheerudu. Also featuring Jimmy Sheirgill and Amyra Dastur in key roles, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on July 26.
