'Kabir Singh' Box Office report: Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani starrer touches Rs 250-crore mark on third Friday
July 13 (AZINS) Kabir Singh has successfully completed three weeks in the running. The movie has now entered its fourth week and right then, it has crossed Rs. 150-crore mark at the Box Office. Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani starrer has been in news since some time, and it has now managed to become the highest grosser of 2019, and still goes on to make records.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kabir Singh is the Hindi remake of the director's debut directorial film Arjun Reddy. The movie starred Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey in lead roles. Like Shahid Kapoor received his due in Bollywood post the film's release, Vijay too became an overnight star after Arjun Reddy hit theatre screens.

While Arjun Reddy went on to make business of Rs. 500 crore in totality, Kabir Singh has crossed half of its mark, within three weeks of its release. In the three weeks, Kabir Singh faced challenges from Bharat, Article 15 and now Super 30, but the movie stayed strong, surpassing each one of them, including record-setter Uri: The Surgical Strike, which released in the beginning of the year.

Sharing the news, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "#KabirSingh stays strong, despite #Super30 making a dent in biz [multiplexes specifically]... [Week 4] Fri 2.54 cr. Total: 252.14 cr. India biz."

Made on budget of merely Rs. 68 crore, Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh has now been declared an all-time blockbuster. The movie, thus, gave director Sandeep Reddy Vanga his biggest blockbuster right when he has started his film career.
