Buzz is: Emraan Hashmi in 'Arth' remake with Jacqueline Fernandez and Swara Bhasker?
Grapevine has it that Emraan Hashmi has been approached to play the male lead in the remake of 'Arth' with Swara Bhasker and Jacqueline Fernandez

It's raining remakes in Bollywood and after the likes of Pati Patni Aur Woh and Coolie No. 1 remake, buzz is that Mahesh Bhatt's Arth too is all set to have a remake. If the grapevine is to be believed, then Jacqueline Fernandez and Swara Bhasker are all set to reprise the roles of Smita Patil and Shabana Azmi in the Arth remake. Now, the latest buzz suggests that Emraan Hashmi has been approached to play the male lead along side Jacqueline Fernandez and Swara Bhasker in the Arth remake.

Noted South actress and filmmaker Revathi will apparently be directing the remake. A report on Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying,"Emraan has been approached to play one of the male leads, possibly Kulbhushan Kharbanda's role. The actor is pretty excited about the part, given that the original was tactfully and meticulously looked over by Bhatt himself. Emraan's closeness with the Bhatt family is well known and Emraan obviously seems to be an obvious choice for the role."

Well, if all goes as per the plans, then Swara Bhasker will essay the character of the abandoned wife who goes on the road to self-discovery after she's deserted by her husband and Jacqueline is likely to portray the part of an actress who ends up becoming the third wheel in their relationship.

Reportedly, the film is supposed to go on floors by the end of December this year or early in January 2020. Though, there hasn't been an official announcement about the project from the makers yet, the prospects of Arth remake have already gotten the fans excited.
