Mission Mangal, starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menon and Sharman Joshi in pivotal roles, has been breaking records at the Box Office since its release! After crossing Rs. 100 crore mark on its first Monday, Mission Mangal has now minted Rs. 114.39 crore by its first Tuesday.

Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menon and Sharman Joshi starrer Mission Mangal managed to earn Rs. 7.92 crore on Tuesday after minting Rs. 8.91 crore on Monday. Reaching close to Rs. 120 crore mark, Mission Mangal is expected to collect around Rs. 127 crore by the end of (extended) week one. After entering its week 2, Mission Mangal could also challenge lifetime Box Office collection of Akshay's previous 2019 release Kesari.

Tweeting about the same, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "#MissionMangal is trending very well on weekdays... Should comfortably cross 127 cr in *extended* Week 1... Will challenge *lifetime biz* of #Kesari in Week 2... Thu 29.16 cr, Fri 17.28 cr, Sat 23.58 cr, Sun 27.54 cr, Mon 8.91 cr, Tue 7.92 cr. Total: 114.39 cr. India biz."

Mission Mangal, made of budget of Rs. 32 crore, released alongside John Abraham-Mrunal Thakur starrer Batla House. Directed by Jagan Shakti, produced by R. Balki, Mission Mangal is loosely based on the story of scientists at Indian Space Research Organisation who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission, India's first interplanetary expedition. The movie is jointly produced by Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions, Fox Star Studios, Aruna Bhatia, and Anil Naidu.
