The Realme 5 smartphone will go on sale at 8 PM in India today on Flipkart and on the company's official website -- realme.com. The company had earlier this week launched two new smartphones - the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro with quad-cameras. The Realme 5 comes with a 5,000mAh battery, whereas the Pro model has 48-megapixel quad cameras as one of its highlights. Here is everything we know about the Realme phone.

The Realme 5 price in India starts at a competitively priced Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM variant, an upgrade from its predecessor, Realme 3. The smartphone comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery, which includes a fast-charging feature. Like every other Realme phone, it also comes with a 10W charger. The Realme 5 packs an HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch. Under the hood, it sports a 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 600-series chipset. It was spotted on Geekbench running a Snapdragon 665 AIE SoC, which also powers the soon to be launched Xiaomi Mi A3. It comes with a 3GB and 4GB RAM variant.

In the photography department, the primary sensor comes with a wide aperture to enable better low-light photography. The secondary sensor also comes with an ultra-wide lens, the third sensor will be a super macro lens, whereas the fourth will be a depth sensor for portrait mode. The primary shooter has a 12MP lens.

It flaunts a modern design with a new crystal model, an upgrade from the earlier diamond-cut design which creates a holographic effect. It will be available for sale from 8 PM today online.
