'Inshallah' shelved but speculations of Shah Rukh Khan replacing Salman Khan in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film are rife!
Ever since Salman Khan made it official that Inshallah with Sanjay Leela Bhansali won't happen any more and Bhansali's production house put out the statement that the film has been put on the back burner for now, speculations about the film being shelved have been doing the rounds. Reports citing various reasons for Salman Khan opting out of the film too have been going around.

Earlier, it was reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is keen to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan on another film, apparently titled Izhaar, which was to be jointly bankrolled by SRK's Red Chillies Entertanment and Bhansali Productions. Reportedly, SLB was to kickstart Izhaar post Inshallah. Now that Inshallah has been postponed indefinitely, rumour mills have been busy churning that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is now in talks with Shah Rukh Khan for the same.

If a report on BollywoodHungama is anything to go by, then SLB is keen on roping in Shah Rukh for Inshallah. The report quoted a source as saying, "He wanted to do Bajirao Mastani with Kareena Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan a decade ago. It didn’t happen then but later he made it with Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh. Shah Rukh and SLB haven’t worked together after Devdas and have been in talks for Izhaar. But buzz is that, now SLB is keen that Shah Rukh steps into Salman’s shoes for Inshallah and is in talks with him for the same. It’s all under wraps right now and will take time for an announcement to happen."

While Shah Rukh and Alia Bhatt have previously worked together in Dear Zindagi, in case SRK gives a nod for Inshallah, then it'll be the first time that the two of them will be seen romantically paired. The source further told the portal, "There was no love story in Dear Zindagi between them so it would be interesting to see what happens if Shah Rukh and Alia appear together on screen again. One can expect fireworks for sure."

Moreover, the report also suggests that Shah Rukh can soon make two big announcements - one of them being Inshallah and the other one can be Raj Kumar Hirani's next. "Shah hasn’t announced any movie till now but he is expected to make two big announcements soon once everything gets finalised – possibly Raj Kumar Hirani’s next and if all goes well, then Inshallah,” added the source.

Another report on IBTimes India quoted a source from Filmfare as saying, "It's final that Inshallah is not happening anymore because Salman and SLB didn't agree with each other's price. While Salman thinks that he should be getting more money, it's Sanjay Leela Bhansali who believes he's bigger than the actor and hence he deserves more money from the project. Now SLB is going to announce the film with SRK soon."

Shah Rukh and Bhansali have always been very warm and cordial to each other and they share a great bond. The duo hasn't collaborated since Devdas and it'll be nothing less than magic if they collaborate again!
