'Chhichhore' Box Office Report day 5: Sushant Singh Rajput-Shraddha Kapoor's film mints Rs 10 crores on Muharram
Audiences were attracted to theatres when Chhichhore released thanks to director Nitesh Tiwari, who had proven his worth by helming Aamir Khan starrer Dangal in 2018. The footfalls slowly increased with good worth-of-mouth, and Chhichhore, currently competing with Saaho, has seen some good Box Office collections so far.

The first Monday of this film witnessed growth from opening Friday, which is a rare case at the Box Office. Furthermore, Sushant Singh Rajput-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Chhichhore benefitted to a huge extent thanks to partial holiday for Muharram.

The movie, which had minted Rs. 8.10 crore on Monday, saw further growth in collections. Sushant-Shraddha's film earned Rs. 10.05 crore on Tuesday, thus taking the Box Office total to Rs. 54.13 crore.

Confirming the same, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "#Chhichhore is unstoppable... Biz shoots up on Day 5 [Tue], with the holiday giving it that extra push... Also, Day 5 [Tue] is higher than Day 1 [Fri] and 4 [Mon]... Fri 7.32 cr, Sat 12.25 cr, Sun 16.41 cr, Mon 8.10 cr, Tue 10.05 cr. Total: ? 54.13 cr. #India biz."

The movie has been accepted at most multiplexes and by Friday, it will also face major competition from Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl.
