'This movie is so powerful': Nick Jonas cheers for Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar's 'The Sky Is Pink'
Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Farhan Akhtar along with the director of The Sky Is Pink attended the premiere of the film at 2019 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF 2019). They were joined by Rohit Suresh Saraf, who plays Priyanka and Farhan's onscreen son. The film is the true story of the Chaudhury family, narrated by their deceased teenaged daughter, Aisha, played by Zaira Wasim. During the final shoot of the film, Nick Jonas visited the sets and it happened just a few days before Priyanka and his wedding.

Today, Nick took to his Instagram story and cheered for The Sky Is Pink. He shared a photo of Priyanka, Farhan and Shonali from the red carpet at TIFF 2019 and wrote, "Congrats @priyankachopra and the entire Sky Is Pink team on your #tiff premier! This movie is so powerful."

While talking about the experience of shooting this highly emotional film, Priyanka told Reuters, "It was a really hard juxtaposition of real life for me. Especially because I was getting married and at the same time this film deals with loss, loss of a child, which is such an unnatural way of being."

Earlier Priyanka told People, "It's so funny because I was filming this until at least four days before my wedding." While Shonali shared about Nick visiting the sets by saying, "He came a little early and we were out in the dark and she was doing a very, very intense scene and I heard a sniff and I suddenly turned and there was Nick standing next to me and he was just crying to see her be emotional. It was just the sweetest thing."
