Disney and Sony's new deal leads Tom Holland's 'Spider-Man' return to Marvel Cinematic Universe, confirms Kevin Feige
Over a month ago Spider-Man was taken away from Marvel Cinematic Universe by Sony over disagreements with Disney. While filing for a new contract the two companies couldn't come to terms and had to go separate ways leaving a trail of heartbroken fans. However, Marvel president Kevin Feige has confirmed the web-slinger will now return to Tony Stark's world. 

A report by Deadline started, Sony and Disney have arrived at an agreement with new terms. It will now allow Marvel Studios to feature Spider-Man in the name MCU universe. There will be a new sequel to Spiderman after Far From Home which will release in 2021. Kevin released a statement saying, “I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it. Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold.”

Co-stars from Jeremy Renner to Ryan Reynolds had asked Sony to return Spiderman to MUC. Buzz Feed News reported a statement from Sony's side announcing the return.

Spider-Man played by Tom Holland debuted in MCU with Captain America: Civil War and since has been part of more than five films including the Avengers franchise. He has now grown out of the Tony Stark's wing and will hold his own place in MCU. Fans were devastated after the deal fell threw months ago.
