PETA calls out Justin Bieber for purchasing Savannah cats worth Rs 2.5 crore
Earlier this week Justin Bieber tied the knot once again with Hailey Baldwin in a lavish wedding ceremony in South Carolina. However, the singer is currently making headlines for buying two exotic cats for $35,000 (Rs 2.5 crore approx) from Illinois-based breeder Select Exotics, as reported by people.com

PETA isn't very keen on Justin's act and has expressed disdain. Senior Vice President Lisa Lange told Page Six on Thursday, "Baby, baby, baby, nooooooo." She believes, "Justin Bieber could inspire his fans around the world to save a life by adopting a cat from a local animal shelter — rather than fueling the dangerous demand for hybrid cats, contributing to the animal overpopulation crisis, and proving that when it comes to helping animals, his stance so far is 'I don't care.'"

Justin also launched an Instagram account on September 27, for the Savannah cats and named them Sushi and Tuna. The account instantly gained over 123,000 followers. The Savannah breed is said to be a cross between a serval and a domestic cat, they have been banned and legally restricted in several US states.

Before the South Carolina wedding on Monday night, the duo walked down the aisle in 2018 during a courthouse ceremony. Hailey then expressed her wish to vow for each other in front of all their family and friends. Justin Bieber after getting married shared a video clip on Instagram stories joking about having a loveless marriage. The shared video showed Hailey playfully smothering him when he says "get off of me! We're married now. No more love now that we're married. That's what happens,"

Hailey then pouts and begins to fake cry saying, "You're being mean to me,". Justin gushes and adds, "Aw, I'm just kidding."
