'Bigil' Review: From calling it extraordinary to disappointing, Twitterati have mixed reactions for Vijay-Atlee's film
Vijay starrer Bigil has finally hit the screens much to the excitement of Thalapathy's fans. The film directed by Atlee also stars Nayanthara, Vivek, Jackie Shroff, Kathir and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. The trailer for Bigil was unveiled by Shah Rukh Khan, who tweeted, "Wish my friends @Atlee_dir & #ThalapathyVijay & @arrahman all the best for this one. Like a Chake De On steroids!!" In the film, Vijay plays the role of Rayappan, Michael (Bigil) and the music is given by A. R. Rahman.

Now as the film released, people are taking up to their Twitter pages and giving the reviews of Bigil. Some have written, "Being an ardent football fan(as some of u guys have guessed it right- going by our tweets), poor VFX literally is a shock! Especially when you are spending close to 200crs- You expect some sort of quality on the screen..which is missing here!" While another user tweeted, "@dop_gkvishnu has slogged for Evey second of the film. Envisaging something of this sorts needs special talent."

Talking about Bigil, Atlee had told The Hindu, "The railway scene towards the interval is my favourite bit of the film." He further said, "Even you guys will like Rayyappan the most among the characters."

Praising Vijay, Atlee went on to say, "True human being who gives love and no hatred."
