25 years of 'Andaz Apna Apna'- 'Aamir-Salman weren’t talking to each other, same with Karisma and me': Raveena Tandon
It's been 25 years since cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna released. The Rajkumar Santoshi directorial released on November 4, 1994, and starred Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon in the lead roles. The film also had Paresh Rawal, Shakti Kapoor and others in the lead roles. When released 25 years back, Andaz Apna Apna was an utter flop but now it is considered a cult classic and is loved by the current generation.

Earlier it was reported that during the shoot of the film, the lead actors Aamir and Salman, Karisma and Raveena were not on talking terms with each other. During an interaction with Hindustan Times, Raveena spoke a length about the same stating, "It was fun as while we were shooting, none of us was speaking to each other. Sabke jhagade chal rahe the. Aamir and Salman weren’t talking to each other, Karisma and I wasn’t talking and neither were Salman and Rajji. I don’t know how that film got made. But, it shows we are damn good actors (laughs)."

She further said, "The boys tried to bring Karisma and me together. In fact, in the climax, there’s a scene where Karishma and I are tied to a pillar. Rajji said, ‘We won’t untie you unless you talk to one another’. It was all so funny. I remember, while shooting scenes, we would all genuinely laugh a lot as the dialogues were so hilarious. Hamne maze bhi kiye aur jhagde bhi kiye."

Raveena shared her current rapport with Salman and Aamir by saying, "They are warm and loving people. In fact, I have a better friendship with Salman than Aamir today."
