'Panipat' Box Office report day 1: Arjun Kapoor's movie highest in his recent releases, still poor
Arjun Kapoor's Panipat released on Friday and the film has opened to poor numbers. The movie has earned better than Arjun's previous releases India's Most Wanted and Namaste London, but the film is still lagging behind in terms of the first day Box Office.

The Box Office collections of Panipat are better in Maharashtra than the rest of India. Mumbai, CP Berar, Nizam and Andhra have performed the best. Nizam and Andhra minted Rs. 35 lakhs, which was similar to Pati Patni Aur Woh collections.

While Mumbai circuit earned Rs. 1.75 crore out of 4 crores due to appeal among Maharashtrians, Delhi, UP and East Punjab has poor collections too. The movie now has to show a turnover of double or 70-80% on Saturday to survive at the Box Office.

Panipat, however, has managed to score better than most recent movies of Arjun Kapoor. His last releases India's Most Wanted and Namaste London minted Rs. 1.76 crore and 1.61 crores respectively.
