Game changing Box Office day 4: Rani Mukerji's 'Mardaani 2' holds well, 'Jumanji - The Next Level' struggles on Monday
Rani Mukerji's Mardaani 2 was competing with Dwayne Johnson and Nick Jonas' Hollywood release Jumanji: The Next Level for a long time. The movie, unfortunately, was performing lesser than Jumanji at the Box Office since the day of its release.

Monday, however, proved to a game-changer for Rani Mukerji's Mardaani 2, since the movie's Box Office collections were at par with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Nick Jonas starrer Jumanji: The Next Level. While movies usually either show a drop on Monday or stay at the same collections, Mardaani 2 managed to earn Rs. 2.75 crore, which is the same Box Office number of Jumanji: The Next Level.

Although Jumanji: The Next Level has already minted Rs. 27 crore and thus, is almost 6 crores ahead of Mardaani 2 collections, for a short-budget movie, Mardaani 2 has performed well over the first day of the week. The movie worked well not only in Kolkata, but also in Mumbai and Pune.

Here's the total break-up of Mardaani 2 collections till date:

Friday - 3,75,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 6,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 7,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 2,75,00,000 apprx

Total - 20,75,00,000 apprx

Here's the total break-up of Jumanji: The Next Level collections till date:

Thursday - 1,25,00,000 apprx

Friday - 5,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 8,25,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 9,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 2,75,00,000 apprx

Total - 27,00,00,000 apprx

Looking at the Monday Box Office numbers, Rani's Mardaani 2 is expected to hold well at the Box Office even in the week ahead. The movie, however, will face tough competition from Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha's Dabangg 3 release on Friday.
