Kartik Aaryan surprised Sara Ali Khan by picking her up during 'Love Aaj Kal' promotions in Ahmedabad. The actor has now come back in limelight after a video of him protecting Sara from a sea of fans there has been making rounds of the internet.

In this video, Kartik stands behind Sara and folds hands thanking the fans for their love. Sara also waved towards the fans as she sat in her car. Promptly, Kartik used his hand as a shield and ensured that Sara went into the car without any more fans coming in her way.

Two other videos from the event have been floating over the internet too. In one such video, Kartik and Sara are seen in a candid conversation. The video is recorded in slow motion. The other video is where Sara and Kartik grooved to 'Galat' aka the reprised version of 'Twist'.

Sara and Kartik (SarTik), who have collaborated for a movie for the first time, were introduced to one another by actor Ranveer Singh. They are currently promoting their movie in Jaipur. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, 'Love Aaj Kal' is slated for Valentines' Day aka February 14, 2020 release. The movie would release alongside Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Shikara' which is based on the emigration of Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir.
