'Suicide isn't the solution': Heartbroken fans remember Sushant Singh Rajput's 'Chhichhore' dialogue after he hangs self
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on Sunday after an apparent battle with depression. He was 34-years-old and hanged himself, he was found in his Bandra residence, police confirmed. Fans and his peers from the industry are still coming to terms with his sudden death. Many of his fans are also quoting his dialogue from his last film, Chhichhore, directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

Chhichhore too, dealt with the pressure faced by engineering students when they are sitting down for their entrance exams. In the movie, Anni, the character played by Sushant, is an engineer himself whose son is appearing for the exams but he is under pressure to perform well as his father has a lot of expectations from him. He, then, attempts suicide in the film and is injured. Looking at his son's battle, the character of Anni asks his son to not commit suicide as it is never the solution.

Sushant often shared his thoughts and musings on his Instagram account. His last post, earlier this month, was dedicated to his late mother. Sushant had shared a black and white collage of his picture and that of his mother’s on June 3 and wrote, "Blurred past evaporating from teardrops. Unending dreams carving an arc of smile. And a fleeting life, negotiating between the two..." Sushant was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore, which went on to become a blockbuster with a collection of over Rs 100 crore at the domestic box office. He was also seen in Drive, which released on Netflix, opposite Jacqueline Fernandez.
