Rajasthan Royals support staff talks about '3-4 hour madness' after IPL 2021 was suspendedRajasthan Royals (RR) took to their social media to give their fans a look into what happened after the BCCI decided to postpone the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Royal support staff including the team coordinator, team manager and the assistant logistics manager give insight into how they proceeded with the bookings and availability, terming the next three-to-four hours as 'complete chaos'.

"It was complete chaos for the next three to four hours. Before any state borders are closed for the domestic players. The challenge was with the international guys on how they are going to go back because India was put on the red list (due to rising COVID cases)," Arjun Dev, Rajasthan Royals Team Coordinator, said.

Romi Bhinder, Rajasthan Royals team manager supported the BCCI's decision of postponing the league saying it was a wise decision keeping the COVID-19 situation in the country in mind especially before it started to get out of hand.

Bhinder also thanked BCCI for arranging some charter flights as he said that it took him approximately one hour to figure out the picture regarding domestic and international flights.

"It took us an hour to figure out who is doing what, who will handle the domestic flights and who will take care of the overseas players. I want to mention that the BCCI did a great job by arranging some charters and everything," he added.

Arjun, on the other hand' remembered that he was on two phone at one point booking an international flight on one and a domestic on the other.

Harshal Merchant, Rajasthan Royals assistant logistics manager said that everyone travelled wearing PPE kits as part of the orders from the doctors.

On Saturday, Rajasthan Royals took to Twitter to announce that majority of their players have reached their homes while others have departed from Delhi with negative Covid reports.
