'Emotion never felt before': Singer Shreya Ghoshal welcomes baby boy with husband ShiladityaRenowned singer Shreya Ghoshal and husband Shiladitya have become parents to a baby boy. Ghoshal broke the news of her first child’s birth on her various social media handles.

“God has blessed us with a precious baby boy this afternoon. It’s an emotion never felt before. @shiladitya and I along with our families are absolutely overjoyed. Thank you for your countless blessings for our little bundle of joy,” the singer wrote in her post.

Congratulations poured in from the music fraternity and Shreya’s fans on social media. Singer Vishal Dadlani wrote,” YES!!! GUPLU 2.0, for the win!!! Congratulations, @shreyaghoshal and @shiladitya ! Finally my Nishachar friend will have a reason to stay up late!! Love you guys!” while singer Neeti Mohan commented, “Many many congratulations. This is such a wonderful news . Hope you and the baby are doing well. Lots of love and congratulations from the Mohan & Pandya family @shreyaghoshal @shiladitya @soumghoshal Nana Nani Dada Dadi.”

Married to entrepreneur Shiladitya Mukhopadhyay, Shreya announced her pregnancy to the world in March this year. Sharing a photo of herself cradling her baby bump, Shreya wrote, "Baby #Shreyaditya is on its way! @shiladitya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all. Need all your love and blessings as we prepare ourselves for this new chapter in our lives.”

Shreya has since been documenting her pregnancy journey on Instagram. The singer had also shared pictures of her online baby shower.

Her friends and family could not be present due to the ongoing lockdown and COVID-19 restrictions but they joined via video call.
