We are talking about Prabhas' rumoured involvement in Tom Cruise starrer 'Mission: Impossible 7'. However, the director of the film Christopher McQuarrie has denied it most simply.

One of the Twitter users asked Chris, "@chrismcquarrie there is a viral news trending on Indian news channels that an Indian actor named Prabhas has been roped in 'MI7' for a key role. Can you please confirm whether it is true or not?"

To which the filmmaker replied, "While he‘s a very talented man, we’ve never met. Welcome to the internet."

Talking about 'Mission: Impossible 7', along with Tom, the film also stars Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Angela Bassett and Frederick Schmidt reprising their roles from the previous films.

While the new additions include Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, Esai Morales, Rob Delaney, Charles Parnell, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, and Cary Elwes.

This is the third film in the series to be directed by McQuarrie, after 'Rogue Nation' and 'Fallout'. 'Mission: Impossible 7' is slated to release in May 2022.

Talking about Prabhas, his upcoming film is 'Radhe Shyam' directed by Radha Krishna Kumar in which he is paired opposite Pooja Hegde.
