Paul Walker's daughter launches foundation as tributeLos Angeles, Sep 13 (AZINS) Taking late actor Paul Walker's passion for ocean and marine life forward, his daughter Meadow launched a foundation named after him on his 42nd birth anniversary.

She says the foundation is the best way to celebrate her father's principles. Walker, who died in a car crash on November 30, 2013, would have turned 42 on Saturday (September 12).

The Paul Walker Foundation with collaboration with Monterey Bay Aquarium will give students scholarships to study marine science, reports people.com.

Meadow took to Instagram to express her thoughts behind the foundation as she shared: "Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill."

Meadow added: "I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others. I am tremendously proud to be launching The #PaulWalkerFoundation (@paulwalkerfdn) on his birthday. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my father. #DoGood."

She also shared an image of herself with her father, who gained international fame for his portrayal of Brian O'Conner in "The Fast and the Furious" film franchise.
