Watch this artist carve crazy aircraft art using only a blade and paperMumbai, Dec 7(AZINS) What can you do with 1,000 manila folders, 50 blades and one full bottle of glue? well if you are Luca Laconi-Stewart you can build an exact replica of Singapore Airlines A380. With Singapore Airline's 'No detail too small' ad campaign, Luca Laconi-Stewart was given the daunting task of creating an exact replica of Singapore Airline's A380 plane. Every part was constructed--even down to the smallest, at 2.5mm long and 1mm in diameter--a pin found in the articulation system of the A380's bespoke business class seat.

"Working with Singapore airlines, I think really bought together the best of our respective passions. I've long known Singapore airlines to be an airline who cares deeply about details and the way they affect the on board experience and that is something I absolutely appreciate as someone who is really obsessed with details" said Luca Laconi-Stewart.

When asked what inspired him to start building paper model planes, Luca said, "The inspiration for building plane models from manila folders came from an architecture class i took in high school and i wanted to take it to the next level and challenge myself, so i decided to try and make a model plane. It combined my interest of architecture and mechanics with my love for aviation."

The entire project took Luca Laconi-Stewart about 1,000 hours to complete.
