Can't get enough of 'The Hunger Games?' Don't worry, makers to explore prequel opportunitiesLos Angeles, Dec 9(AZINS) Entertainment Company Lionsgate is evaluating the probabilities of prequels to the Hunger Games franchise.

Comparing Hunger Games to Harry Potter franchise, Lionsgate Vice Chairman Michael Burns said it will "live on and on and on," reported Aceshowbiz.

According to him The Hunger Games and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire contained arenas, where the 74th and 75th versions of the Hunger Games competitions took place, but the second two did not.

"The one thing that kids say they missed (from the early Hunger Games films) was there were no arenas. If we went backwards, there obviously would be arenas," Burns said.

The studio is also considering to work on its other big franchises, including Twilight, The Expendables and Saw, nodding towards reboot, prequels or sequels for each of them.
