Sushant Singh Rajput took to Twitter to announce the release date of his upcoming movie M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.
Based on the life of India's World Cup-winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the movie will release on September 2, 2016.
Directed by Special 26 helmer Neeraj Pandey, the movie starrs Sushant Singh Rajput in the title role and Anupam Kher will play Dhoni's father Pan Singh. Kiara Advani of Fugly will play the role of Dhoni's wife Sakshi.
Produced by Fox Star Studios, the movie has been shot in Ranchi. Sushant Singh Rajput underwent makeover and special training to bring the life of Indian skipper to silver screen.
