LG to show off an 18-inch display that can be rolled up like a newspaperMumbai, Jan 4(AZINS) LG has built a 18-inch super thin display that can be rolled up like a newspaper, that they plan on showing off at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas later this week. The screen integrates LG’s forward thinking OLED, which is a type of LED display that is highly flexible.

LG has far surpassed any of its kin with this piece of technology. They will even showcase a 25-inch screen that will be installed at the inside of a car at its Autozone section.

LG plans to release more information about its flexible screen in the next couple of days as well as a 55-inch “super thin” TV in which all the electronic parts are sold separately. There are also future plans for integrating this technology into Smartphones and tablets

LG also has an 8K TV model, the UH9800, along with a range of new 65-inch and 77-inch 4K TVs that will be on display at the event.
