Indian hacker groups join forces in ‘paying tributes’ on key Pakistani websites Mumbai, Jan 7(AZINS) In the aftermath of the martyrdom of Lt Col Niranjan Kumar during the recent Pathankot terrorist attack, several Indian hacker groups have banded together and targeted key Pakistani websites.

The two hacker groups, Indian Black Hat Hackers (IBH) and the Kerala Cyber Warriors (KCW) collaborated to hack into sites such as the Center for Pakistan and Gulf Studies, the Pakistan Bar Council, the Canteen Stores Department Pakistan and about half a dozen more.

The hack included a takeover of the home page with a photo of Vismaya, the infant daughter of Lt Col Niranjan Kumar, with the patriotic song ‘Oru Yathramozhiyode’ from Mohanlal’s movie Kurukshetra playing in the background.

Lt Col Niranjan Kumar lost his life while trying to diffuse an explosive from a terrorist's body at the IAF base in Pathankot.

The text on the hacked websites reads, “This Attack is dedicated for Vismaya, the daughter of NSG Commando Lt Col Niranjan !! A But Salute from team IBH to the familys (sic) of brave soldiers who lost their life in Pathankot Attack !! A Small Tribute to those Brave Soldiers who Laid their Precious Life for our Country and our People”

The group has also clarified that apart from the homepage takeover, no content from any of the websites has been deleted.
