Watch: Trained eagles take out drones as Dutch police wage war on the illegal flying machinesMumbai, Feb 2(AZINS) With the popularity of drones increasing, government officials are doing are coming up with innovative ways to deal with the “drone problem.”

The latest attempt by Dutch police has seen them partner with Guard From Above, the first firm to train birds to take out illegal drones based in the Hague.

They even posted a video approximately three minutes long on YouTube showing-off their drone ‘killing machines’ in action.

What is remarkable is that the birds manage to disarm the drones without hurting themselves: with one swooping action, they grab the drones right in the center and fly off with them. It almost feels like they can see and anticipate the movement of the propellers to avoid injury.

This isn't the only attempt that government officials have made to tackle the UAV problem (but it certainly is--by far--the coolest). Law enforcement from Japan are using special nets to halt drones that may disrupt flight patterns while a group of three British firms have developed some sort of laser that can disable drones.

It isn’t clear what the winged raiders do with the drones after snatching the drones from the air. Perhaps dismember them and feed them to robotic chicks?
