Daisy, 23, was picked out of virtual obscurity to star as Rey in the blockbuster franchise reboot and now she is being eyed for the action role made famous by Angelina Jolie in the early 2000s, reported Deadline.

Movie executives at Warner Bros and MGM are relaunching the franchise, based on the popular video game series, and are reportedly looking at a number of actresses.

The reboot has reportedly been in the works for several years, although it is unclear when the movie is slated to begin filming as the production is in its very early stages.
