One Direction's Harry Styles heads to big screen with Christopher Nolan's 'Dunkirk'Author : AZIndia News Desk
London, Mar 12(AZINS) One Direction star Harry Styles will be making his acting debut with Christopher Nolan's WWII action thriller project Dunkirk.
Along with Styles, 22, English actors Jack Lowden and Aneurin Barnard too are joining the production, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The cast also includes this year's Oscar winner Mark Rylance, Tom Hardy and Sir Kenneth Branagh.
Production on the drama is set to begin in May, which will be shot on 65mm large format film and Imax.
The movie centers on the British military evacuation of the French city of Dunkirk in 1940, one of the biggest battles during the way.
Dunkirk is Nolan's follow-up to the space epic Interstellar. It will be shot across various locations in Europe a combination of Imax 65mm and 65mm large format film. The shooting will begin in May, reports Variety.
Dunkirk hits theaters on July 21, 2017.
