Yahoo Messenger brings support for Hindi on AndroidMumbai, Apr 12(AZINS) Yahoo has just announced the new version of their app, which now supports Hindi along with other languages including Chinese, French, German, Indonesian and Spanish.

Along with this feature is also the ability to now quickly find contacts from your phone, where the app syncs with the user’s local phone directory to locate friends who are also using Yahoo Messenger. All that needs to be done to utilize this feature is to enable the app to access the phone’s contacts.

Yahoo Messenger--very popular in the early 2000’s--has been facing stiff competition from the likes of Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger and Google Hangouts in the race to stay relevant to today's mobile users. Most recently, Yahoo Messenger included a feature ‘unsend’ chats including photos and messages.
