What's about :  No….this is not a sequel to ‘Singh is Kinng’.  The two movies are poles apart.
The title was derived from Karan Johar's comment on Akki , ''Ooooh so Singh is Bling today '' - referring to akki's role in Singh is Kinng.
 
A blundering hero in search of a mission in life, a kickass female protagonist , a sleepwalking interpreter who is more than just an English-to-Hindi translator and a whole bunch of turbaned men run riot in Singh is Bliing.

Story : Flaunting wacky clothes, bright turbans and cool sunglasses, the ever happy and popular munda - an adorable Raftaar Singh (Akshay Kumar), is a no do-gooder in the eyes of his disciplined father (Yograj Singh) as he's jobless. He is thus sent off to Goa . In Goa Raftaar bumps into Sara (Amy Jackson), daughter of a Romanian don (Kunal Kapoor) and falls in love but she is being chased by a psycho drug lord Mark (Kay Kay Menon).

Since Raftaar cannot speak English and Amy, Hindi, they seek the help of a translator Emily (Lara Dutta). Chaos ensues when Sara provokes the supposedly dangerous goons (Murli Sharma, Kay Kay), who seek revenge.
After a hilarious first half, a few inconsequential scenes , the gender roles of lead cast are reversed. Amy is the femme fatale, who convincingly kicks ass, while Akshay gets beaten-up often.

Prabhudheva, appears on screen only to pee ,  turns a urinal scene where he and other fellows spray and sprinkle. See, su-su! After all, boys will be boys, no?
I felt bad for the guy who asked me , “Why does Akshay Kumar wear folded trouser in one leg?” Poor guy. As if there’s logic to other things in the film.

Characters :

Akshay Kumar [ Raftaar Singh ] : makes you giggle. Be it by his innocence, seasoned comic timing or bizarre fashion sense - Akki steals the show. funny and very adorable,   shines in the emotional and action sequences. looks like a paaji!

Amy Jackson [ Sara] : not just eye candy. She kicks more butts than Akshay! she leaves a mark.

Kay Kay Menon [ Mark ] : plays the comic villain, who keeps mouthing, "I am good." okay but shines in the climax.

Lara Dutta [ Emily ] : a female buffoon, in sexist japes involving, yes, male private parts. Showcases her comic timing , extremely cute and her midnight walk at the beach scenes are good.

Kunal Shashi Kapoor : makes a comeback after 30 years.does a fine job as Sara’s father.

Rati Agnihotri is lovely , 54-year-old Rati plays mother to 48-year-old Akshay !!!  Pradeep Rawat is decent. Yograj Singh makes his presence felt when he talks to Amy about Akshay.

Arfi Lamba and Anil Mange(as Raftaar’s friends) raise laughs in some scenes.  Sunny Leone’s cameo is superb.


Cons :  ordinary Story ,    

Pros : action enhances impact.  great screen play , Direction , superb comic moments

Music : Tung Tung is a great entry song . Dil Kare Chu Che is the best for its idea and presentation. Cinema Dekhe Mumma and Aaja Mahi are dman good tracks too. Background score is exciting.

Bottom line :   Singh Is Bliing is an entertaining joyride with loads of unexpected funny moments. Akshay’s funny antics are too good . Go for it and enjoy ! ... Akshay Kumar, you are the dude.
