Haryana schools for classes 1 and 2 to reopen from THIS date

Harayana government on Wednesday has decided to resume regular classes for students of Class 1 and Class 2, beginning March 1, the state government says, as per news agency ANI.

The parents of the students have to submit a consent letter to the school head/ class teacher before sending them to schools. Besides this, parents who want to continue online education can continue to do so.

The Haryana government, today, reopened schools for students of classes 3 to 5. Schools have been asked have to follow all COVID-19 related guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The state government had earlier announced that regular classes for Class 3 to 5 students would be held only for three hours daily from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM amid strict adherence to COVID-19 guidelines and SOPs.

The department issued orders for the reopening of government and private primary schools in the state after they were closed for almost a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Haryana schools reopened for higher classes in December last year while students of Classes 6 to 8 were allowed to attend from February 1 this year.
