WhatsApp soon to launch to new feature that will let you react to messages

WhatsApp Web will soon have a new feature that will let users react to the app with their family, friends, and colleagues. WhatsApp is currently working on a feature that will be similar to Facebook Messenger and Instagram.

The messenger app is working on the WhatsApp Web Message Reaction Message, which is currently in the development stage and once released will let users react to specific messages in a group using different kinds of emojis. The feature will be made available on both WhatsApp desktop and WhatsApp web platforms.

Users will be able to react using any emoji as WhatsApp Web Message Reactions and all group members will be able to see who reacted to a message, according to WABetaInfo.

The report adds that in this new WhatsApp Web Feature, a message can have an infinite amount of reactions, and if a message has more than 999 reactions that will read as '999+' reactions.

This means that a user will be able to react to any message as many times they wish with different emojis, WABetaInfo said on Twitter. It added that the message reaction process will be end-to-end encrypted and nobody will be able to see the reactions.

The message reaction feature will further be made available for individual chats, which means the feature will be available for users anywhere on WhatsApp's platform.
