Baby John box office collection day 13: Varun Dhawan film records its lowest day so far, fails to earn even Rs...

The action-packed thriller Baby John was released in the theatres on December 25 on Christmas last year. The film featured Varun Dhawan as the titular protagonist, Keerthy Suresh (in her Bollywood debut) and Wamiqa Gabbi as the leading ladies, and Jackie Shroff as the main villain. Salman Khan also made a cameo appearance in the post climax scene.

An adaptation of Atlee's 2016 Tamil hit Theri, Baby John has continued to struggle at the box office since its first day and recorded its lowest-ever day on Monday. As per early estimates from the entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk, the film collected just around Rs 25 lakhs on January 6. This takes Baby John's 13-day total to Rs 38.75 crore net in India.

Talking about its worldwide collections, the Kalees directorial has earned close to Rs 60 crore gross worldwide till now. Considering its massive budget of around Rs 180 crore, Baby John has joined Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, and Maidaan in the list of the biggest Bollywood flops of 2024.

Even Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone-starrer romantic comedy Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which was re-released in cinemas on January 3, earned more money than Baby John on Monday. As per early reports, the Ajay Mukerji directorial collected Rs 1.12 crore on January 6. It had earned Rs 6.25 crore in its opening weekend of re-release.

The Varun Dhawan film failed to compete against other big releases during the Christmas and New Year holidays. The moviegoers chose Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule, the Hollywooda animated musical Mufasa: The Lion King, and Unni Mukundan's Malayalam violent actioner Marco over Baby John.
