Pushpa 2 box office collection day 35: Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna film races towards Rs 1850 crore worldwide

Headlined by Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, Pushpa 2: The Rule is the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024 and the second highest-grossing Indian film ever. The pan-India blockbuster, which has enthralled the entire nation, has broken several records since its release on December 5.

On Monday, the makers had officially announced that Pushpa 2 had earned Rs 1831 crore gross worldwide. Since then, the film had added around Rs 7 crore to its net collections in India. Adding the overseas total, the Allu Arjun-starrer is now racing towards Rs 1850-crore mark at the global box office.

Meanwhile, the reloaded version of Pushpa 2: The Rule will now release on January 17 instead of the earlier announced date of January 11. Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of the film, took to their social media timelines to announce the new date of release of the reloaded version, which will feature an additional 20 minutes.

In a post, the production house said, "Due to technical delays in processing the content, the reloaded version of Pushpa 2: The Rule is delayed. It will now screen in theatres from 17th January and not from 11th January as planned earlier." Wishing everyone a happy Sankranthi, they added, “The extended version will be worth the wait with additional whistleworthy moments. The wildfire gets more fiery.

"Written and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule is the direct sequel of Pushpa: The Rise. The first part had grossed Rs 350 crore worldwide and became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2019. The second part will be followed by Pushpa 3: The Rampage, which was teased in the second part's climax.
