Dhoom Dhaam Teaser: Yami Gautam, Pratik Gandhi's wedding night turns chaotic; netizens react 'Ghosted Indian version'

Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi take the audience on a rollercoaster ride in the recently released teaser for the upcoming action-comedy Dhoom Dhaam. The short clip opens with their wedding night which turns into a wild adventure night with lots of twists and suspense. Netizens are speculating it the copy of Chris Evan’s film Ghosted, which happens to fall in a similar plot, after watching the teaser.

Taking to its official Instagram account, Netflix shared the teaser with fans, giving them a glimpse into the chaotic and hilarious rollercoaster of events set against the backdrop of a couple's wedding night.

The story of 'Dhoom Dhaam' flips the idea of ‘happily ever after’. As Koyal (played by Yami Gautam), a carefree and wild woman, ties the knot with Veer (played by Pratik Gandhi), a timid and animal-loving veterinarian, their wedding night spirals into unexpected chaos. The newlyweds find themselves on a wild adventure filled with twists, quirky characters, and surprises that redefine what it means to be ‘just married’.

Reacting to the teaser, a user wrote, “When Harsad Meheta Meets Naina Jeswal.” A second user commented, “Two talented actors...It'd be quite a ride I guess.” “Looks so darn good, Yami & Prateek are underrated. Hopefully, this will cater for the masses,” reacted a third user. Some compare the film to Ghosted. A netizen said, “Ghosted Indian version,” another netizen added, “Copy of a Chris Evans movie.”

The action-comedy, directed by Rishab Seth and produced by Aditya and Lokesh Dhar of B62 Studios and Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios, is set to release on Netflix on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2025.

Meanwhile, talking about Yami Gautam, the actress attended the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa for the screening of her film Article 370 in November. Article 370, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Aditya Suhas Jambhale, delves into the pivotal event of the revocation of Article 370 by the Central government on August 5, 2019.

Alongside Yami Gautam, the film featured an ensemble cast including Priyamani, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar. Yami is next set to grace the screens in the upcoming film Dhoom Dhaam.
